ISHC2022 is sponsored by INSAI, Fudan University, University of Toronto and Changan-Fudan AI Edge Computing Joint Laboratory. It aims to provide a high-level communication platform for experts, scholars and technical professionals engaged in relevant research filed. Centered around the theme of the conference, many experts warmly discussed the latest research work in the fields of network system, smart building and community, and smart and healthy city.

This conference was hosted by Prof. Tao Chen from Fudan University. Liang Song, General Chair of the conference, Professor of Fudan University, Academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering, introduced the course of ISHC as the opening moderator. Christopher Yip, Dean of Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, Professor of University of Toronto, Fellow of Engineering Institute of Canada, was invited to deliver the opening speech. He expressed his unique views on international cooperation in science and technology. The conference welcomed scholars from home and abroad to come and share their research.

This conference was divided into keynote speech, panel discussion, academic presentation and oral paper presentation.

In the keynote speech session, Qiu Baoxing, Former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China, discussed the "generation" and "composition" of smart cities from the perspective of Complex Adaptation Theory (CAS).

In the panel discussion, with the theme of "the application of smart and health technologies in future cities", Prof. Liang Song, Prof. Mei Tian and Prof. Linhua Jiang  from Fudan University, And Prof. Mark Fox, Prof. Konstantinos Plataniotis and Prof. Christopher Yip from University of Toronto, Canada exchanged opinions on Smart health technology challenges and opportunities, the impact of Internet and AI on smart health cities, intercity data interaction, AI model calculation and other issues have launched a heated discussion.
